Tree Trimming
Trees are generally trimmed for one of three purposes: aesthetics, safety or health.
- Aesthetics – Trimming a tree helps maintain the tree's natural appearance.
- Safety – Trees may grow too close to utility lines, have dead or broken limbs that may fall, or obstruct your vision while driving.
- Health – It is sometimes possible to save an infected tree by strategically pruning away affected branches and limbs.
Tree Removal
Trees are generally removed for one of three purposes: safety, health or obstruction.
- Safety – Similar to tree trimming, sometimes a tree may be beyond trimming to guarantee safety. If a tree is dead, it can cause serious safety concerns due to falling limbs.
- Health – It is possible that one tree could be inhibiting the health of nearby trees. You may also need to remove a tree infected with the Ash Borer Beetle or the Asian Longhorn Beetle before they spread to nearby trees.
- Obstruction – There are times when a tree has grown too close to a home or structure.
Stump Grinding
Why remove the stump?
- Aesthetics – Stumps are an eyesore.
- Safety – A stump can be overtaken by the lawn or weeds, causing it to be difficult to see. This can cause people to stumble over them.
